As per the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, all non-domestic premises must have a suitable and sufficient Fire Risk Assessment. Previously, it used to be that if a premise had less than 5 staff members, the Fire Risk Assessment did not have to be recorded. However, with the introduction of the Building Safety Act 2022, all Fire Risk Assessments now must be recorded regardless of staff members.
A Fire Risk Assessment must be carried out be a competent person which is where our team at JR Fire Protection come in. Our professionally trained staff can attend your business and carry out a Fire Risk Assessment for you. We will carry out a full inspection of your property, looking at your current systems and equipment, as well as the property itself and compile a report making any necessary recommendations to make sure you are complying with the correct legislation, carrying out your legal obligations and keeping you as safe as can be.
A Fire Risk Assessment can also help you understand what Fire Alarm systems you need, how many Fire Extinguishers you might need as well as looking at common fire risks. We also look at your Management of Fire Safety so can assist with identifying any training needs or documentation.
